The Role

As a Senior Advisor on our Wealth Management team, you'll provide comprehensive support to our high net worth clients ($1MM+) throughout their journey with us. Unlike traditional wealth management roles, this position is fully salaried with no commission structure or sales targets. Your performance will be evaluated on a balanced scorecard focused entirely on delivering world-class client experiences.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Provide exceptional onboarding experiences for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition to Wealthsimple

  • Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client's unique situation and goals

  • Create custom investment proposals that align with clients' financial objectives and risk tolerance

  • Proactively service client accounts, anticipating needs before they arise

  • Maintain regular communication with clients through phone, video, and in-person meetings

  • Apply your financial expertise to complex client situations involving corporations, trusts, and estates

  • Contribute your insights to improve our service offering and client experience

What you’ll bring:
  • Pl. Fin and CFP designation required (CPA is a valuable asset)

  • CIM or CFA designation required

  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory roles

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service

  • Strong financial planning and investment management knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly

  • Client-first mentality in all aspects of your work

  • Passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals

  • Technology-minded with the ability to leverage digital tools to enhance client experience

  • Bilingual (English/French) capability is a significant asset
