  • Work with leadership to understand and develop actionable insights from existing internal and external datasets available throughout the company to inform and drive optimal product strategies.

  • Coordinate and build strong working relationships with various internal commercial and technical organizations.

  • Leverage creative solutions, analytics, and visualization/reporting techniques to enhance knowledge and drive actionable insights.  This could include use of variance analysis, dashboards, reporting, and automation.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of analytics, internal reporting, and market intelligence reporting.

  • Compile large datasets using tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, AI, Python and SQL, and be able to understand, manipulate and analyze data trends.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on US product portfolios; Monitor product performance by conducting extensive numerical analysis including sales, margin, market share, volume and inventory levels. Lead conversations with other departments to ensure all necessary parties are involved in product strategy discussions. Provide executive summaries for leadership and provide recommendations where needed.

  • Support the process of US price change analyses, engaging with other departments as required to create executive summaries for leadership’s review.

  • Lead projects and delegate work in alignment with department objectives.

  • Lead the completion of all routine and ad-hoc reporting and analyses per Management’s requests.  Review and address interdepartmental requests for product information.

  • Continuously communicate with the Pricing and Contracts and Pricing Analytics cross-functionally to ensure all strategies are clearly defined and on target.

  • Provide a first level data check on analysis, reports, and presentations before they are published to other departments or leadership.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience.  However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. 

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

  • Must be able to analyze & visualize data effectively.

  • Must possess knowledge of data processing and analysis.

  • Experience working with large amounts of data.

  • Generic pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred.

  • Ability to learn the interdependent market variables surrounding the products offered by Viatris’ subsidiaries, and the market channels in which they operate. Ability to perform business analytics relevant to the Pharmaceutical industry.

  • Skilled in the areas of product profitability analysis and reporting. Able to assess complex business issues that require collaboration with multiple areas of the business, as well as articulate these business issues to management in a professional manner. Highly analytical, intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and organized. Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented business environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Position functions semi-autonomously. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents.  Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence.  Ability to work with groups of people such as other departments and communicate known concepts.  Ability to present to a group of departments.

  • Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates. 

  • Ability to solve problems with complex variables through non-standardized solutions that require independent judgment and analysis.  Ability to draw inferences and use deductive reasoning with no prescribed procedures to solve complex problems.

  • May be required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps. May require use of hands and use of arms. 

  • Normal office situation

  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $105,000.
