Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Revenue Operations will play a critical role in supporting Mercer Advisors’ revenue strategy by delivering deep analytical insights, building high‑quality dashboards and visualizations, and improving the efficiency of our revenue engine across the full client lifecycle. This role will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Client Service teams to enhance forecasting accuracy, streamline operational processes, and support scalable, data‑driven growth.

Drawing from best‑in‑class SaaS revenue operations practices, this analyst will help strengthen Mercer’s unified revenue operations model—supporting funnel analytics, pipeline performance, revenue forecasting, segmentation, territory planning, and KPI development. The ideal candidate brings high analytical rigor, strong business acumen, and hands‑on experience with BI tools common in revenue organizations.


Essential Job Functions for this role include:

Revenue Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and forecasting models to support revenue planning and operational decision‑making.
  • Analyze key revenue metrics (conversion rates, pipeline velocity, funnel performance, forecast accuracy) to identify trends and root causes.
  • Surface actionable insights that improve sales productivity and operational efficiency across the revenue organization.

Process Optimization & Operational Excellence

  • Improve revenue processes including lead‑to‑client conversion, pipeline hygiene, territory alignment, and handoff between Marketing, Sales, and Client Service.
  • Evaluate and implement tools, workflows, and automation to streamline operations and enhance data quality.
  • Support business performance reviews by delivering structured insights and standardized reporting packages.

Cross‑Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Client Service to unify revenue data, align KPIs, and support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance to support operational alignment on forecasting, compensation modeling, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Engage with Marketing to evaluate campaign performance and support attribution analysis across the full funnel.

Data Governance & Infrastructure

  • Maintain data integrity across CRM and BI systems; identify and resolve data inconsistencies to ensure high‑quality reporting.
  • Define and document standard KPIs, reporting frameworks, and data dictionaries used across the revenue organization.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 4–6+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business analytics, or related roles; SaaS or high‑growth environment experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards and visualizations; proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Understanding of funnel analytics, forecasting methodologies, segmentation, and revenue performance metrics.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing root‑cause analysis to identify revenue leakage or performance gaps.
  • Strong written, verbal, and data‑storytelling communication—able to present insights to senior leadership clearly and concisely.
  • High degree of attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field.

Work Schedule:

This professional role requires availability during standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM.  At times, the role may have early or late hours to meet business tasks and deadlines for external and internal client needs.    

All roles classified as a non-exempt are required to record working time into the timekeeping system daily at the start and end of each workday plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.

Actual base pay within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills and licenses/certifications.  This position is also eligible to earn incentive compensation through one of Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs. 

Base Pay Range
$106,250$125,000 USD
