The Impact You Will Have  


Walker & Dunlop is seeking a Senior Production Analyst that will primarily assist in sizing and underwriting loans, gathering/organizing due diligence, and interfacing with both internal producers and external clients related to multifamily small balance transactions.  Additional responsibilities will be related to marketing and sales of loan products. 


Primary Responsibilities 

  • Prepare initial analysis of loan packages to qualify incoming loan requests that fit the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac program guidelines  

  • Participate in weekly Pipeline and Production Meetings and be prepared to discuss current status of all active loans in the Pipeline 

  • Expand knowledge and develop relationships with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae Production Staff to drive production activity  

  • Interact with producers, brokers, and borrowers in the collection of the necessary due diligence to finance multifamily properties  

  • Prepare and present Loan Quote forms and necessary due diligence information, including market research, models, narratives, and borrower information for each property loan request received 

  • Participate in Kick-Off Meetings with Walker & Dunlop Producer, Underwriter and Closer for all loans under application 

  • Input entries in Salesforce and pipeline management systems for all active loans  

  • Prepare pre-call plans for Producers prior to all Correspondent and Borrower visits as requested 

  • Travel with the producer and participate in initial property inspections throughout the country, as requested 

  • Complete ongoing and single-task project assignments for Production Management Team 

  • Support routine business and administrative needs for Production Manager including data entry, team communications and expense reporting 

  • Other skills related to building a career in Production

  • Attendance is generally required from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm local time, Monday through Friday

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business or Finance Degree preferred)  

  • 2+ years of financial analyst experience with commercial real estate owner, broker, appraiser or financial institution preferred 

  • Experience with GSE Multifamily lending (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac) 

  • Excellent financial modeling skills including thorough knowledge of MS Excel 

  • Proficient in MS Word and Outlook
