Employment Type: Full-time. 

Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000.

What are we are looking for:

The Senior Application Programmer will provide expert-level knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations. This role involves analyzing functional business applications, designing specifications, and developing software solutions to support critical functions such as finance, accounting, personnel, logistics, and contracts. 

You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and refining software applications while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. The position also requires experience with APIs, low-code/no-code development models, and process automation using BPMN tools, along with strong knowledge of agile and hybrid development methodologies. 

 

Duties of a Senior Application Programmer may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Providing expert-level knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations. 
  • Analyzing functional business applications and design specifications across multiple domains (finance, accounting, personnel, logistics, contracts). 
  • Developing block diagrams and logic flowcharts; translating detailed designs into computer software. 
  • Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and refining software to produce required products. 
  • Preparing required program-level and user-level documentation. 
  • Enhancing software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency. 
  • Providing technical direction to programmers to ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems, considering equipment capacity, limitations, and operating requirements. 

 

Required Skills / Experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology–related field and 10+ years of relevant experience. 
  • Expert-level knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management for programs and project operations. 
  • Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to support low-code/no-code platform models. 
  • Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) tools. 
  • Experience developing application and process automation software based on BPMN models. 
  • Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development. 
  • Background as an application programmer on large-scale DBMS with the ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives. 
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. 
  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level - I (A+ CE, CCNA Security, CND, Network Security, SSCP) OR higher (IAT Level - II or III).
  • DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1.
