About Arcade

Arcade is a fast-growing company based in San Francisco, helping teams create AI-driven interactive product demos in minutes. With over 100,000 users, we’re driving leads, boosting product adoption, and transforming how products are showcased. Our team of about 20 is expanding, and we’re looking for builders excited to shape the future of product storytelling.

What You'll Do ✨

We’re looking for product-minded AI Engineers excited to push the boundaries of AI. You’ll work across advanced prompting strategies, retrieval-augmented generation, context orchestration, and dynamic model routing to create intelligent, multimodal experiences. Your work will power interactive demos as well other rich media workflows that feel magical to end users. As part of a small, fast-moving team, you’ll collaborate tightly with design and engineering to prototype novel capabilities and own them through to production.

Who You Are

First and foremost, you’re someone who enjoys building something from scratch and thrives in a highly autonomous environment. You're ready to build, iterate, and ship at speed, and have experience working cross-functionally to get stuff done. You care about creating beautiful (dare we say delightful) products, and your low ego means you're ready to tackle whatever technical challenge the team is facing

Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in software engineering and/or AI.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience building and maintaining production systems within AI/LLM contexts.

  • Ability to work with LLM pipelines, vector search, agent frameworks, and/or multimodal tools.

  • Experience optimizing applications to perform at their best.

Nice to Have Skills: Typescript, Next.js; React; Experimentation; Security.

Why Arcade Might Be a Great Fit for You:
  • Be part of a small, highly technical team where engineers ship bold ideas end-to-end.

  • Work in a culture that values openness, ownership, collaboration, and kindness.
Enjoy perks like unlimited PTO, rich health/401(k) plans, meeting-light culture, remote stipend, and biannual retreats.

  • Enjoy working on site in San Francisco on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Compensation
  • $130k-$265k, plus meaningful equity

Our values ❤️
  • Be a coach: We want the best for our customers and ourselves. We coach people to help them achieve their best potential. An “Arcader” is both a teammate and a customer. There is a reason that the same word describes both.

  • Carry the weight: We are owners. Let’s empower each other. When we see something that needs change, we lead through it.

  • An open book: We are open as a team and as a product. We don’t put walls up unless it’s necessary. We become better when we share information. We are open to diversity of opinion, backgrounds, and thought.

  • Play as a team: We play because we’re a creator tool. Life is short. Let’s build something meaningful. We play as a team because great teams build great things together. We keep those standards high.

  • Be kind: We can be honest and kind. We can have high standards and be kind. We can say no and be kind. Kindness can vary across cultures, upbringings, and languages - but we try our best to be kind.
