We are looking for a Senior ASIC Design Engineer to join our Switch Silicon team. As a Design Engineer at NVIDIA, you'll join a group of hardworking engineers developing the next generation, groundbreaking Switch Silicon chips. In this position, you'll make a real impact in a dynamic, technology-focused company while developing the industry's best high-speed communication devices, delivering the highest throughput and lowest latency!

What you'll be doing:

  • As a key member of our Switch design team, you will implement, document and deliver high performance, area and power efficient RTL to achieve design targets and specifications.

  • Analyze architectural trade-offs based on features, performance requirements and system limitations.

  • Craft micro-architecture, implement in RTL, and deliver a fully verified, synthesis/timing clean design.

  • Collaborate with architects, verification engineers, formal engineers, physical design engineers, and software engineers to accomplish your goals.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in micro-architecture and RTL development (Verilog and/or SystemVerilog), with a focus on high bandwidth data paths.

  • A deep understanding of ASIC design flows including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis and timing analysis.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent teammate.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Proven experience in switching silicon and high bandwidth data path design. This includes data movement, arbitration, scheduling, and link list based designs.

  • Knowledge of networking protocols and networking architectural concepts

  • Good debugging and analytical skills.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4, and 196,000 USD - 310,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
