Role Overview:
A Relationship Executive is responsible for:• Managing key accounts and third parties (brokers and MGUs) relationships:
o This role involves working closely with key policyholders, brokers and MGUs to understand their needs, developing strategies to meet those needs, and acting as a liaison between them and the company's internal teams.
• Maintaining strong internal relationships:
o Working with various GMAD's teams such as Underwriting, Sales and Marketing to assist brokers, MGUs and Policyholders.
o Work with other New York Life divisions to cross-sell Accident and Health business.
o Be a liaison to other New York Life divisions such as GBS.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
What You'll Do: • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.• Account Planning: Develop strategic account plans to meet the client's business objectives and ensure client satisfaction.• Client Meetings: Regularly meet with key clients, brokers and MGUs to review their needs, provide updates on progress, and discuss new opportunities.• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure client needs are met.• Project Management: Oversee the execution of client projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and effectively.• Mid-Term Policy Changes: Handle mid-term endorsements for accounts if necessary (including, but not limited to, BORs and name changes).
What You'll Bring: • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Need to be competent in Microsoft products such as Word and PowerPoint.• Multitasking skills required.• Excellent communication skills.• Sales or Account Management experience preferred.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $68,000 - $100,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
