Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer

As a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer,  you will focus on automating the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure. This role is crucial for enhancing efficiency and ensuring scalability in cloud operations.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Provide L1/L2 support for IBM FileNet, Datacap, Content Navigator, and WebSphere applications.
  • Troubleshoot user issues related to login, document viewing, uploading, workflows, and integrations.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability across ECM and supporting platforms.
  • Perform routine health checks, basic configuration updates, and post‑deployment validations.
  • Assist with authentication and security issues (Kerberos, SPNEGO, SSO, certificates).
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues for knowledge base improvement.
  • Coordinate with engineering, DevOps, cloud, and security teams for escalations.
  • Support backup/restore validation, DR testing, and environment maintenance activities.

What You Will Need (Required Skills)

  • Working knowledge of IBM FileNet P8, Content Navigator, and WebSphere.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of authentication and security concepts (SAML/OIDC, OAuth, Kerberos).
  • Ability to analyze logs, troubleshooting issues, and follow structured support processes.
  • Experience using ticketing systems and ITIL-based incident management.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments, coordinate with security teams, and remediate findings across FileNet, ICN, WebSphere, JAVA, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Programming experience with JavaScript, Dojo, Java, and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Shell.
  • Must possess AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional certification.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with ECM migrations or cloud‑native content services.
  • Familiarity with F5 load balancers, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps tools.
  • IBM or cloud certifications (FileNet, Cloud Pak, OpenShift, AWS, Azure).
