What We’re Looking For
We are looking for B2SMB affiliate partnership marketers who are passionate about the industry and want to demonstrate their expertise through contract work. As a consultant, you’ll act as a trusted extension of our team, managing clients while maintaining the flexibility of contract work. Our clients typically seek consultant opportunities with availability ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week.
What You'll Do
- Own the day-to-day management of client relationships, providing proactive communication, documentation, guidance, and expertise to client stakeholders.
- Develop and execute full funnel B2SMB affiliate and partnership strategies that align with client goals, factoring in sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Provide full-service, end-to-end B2SMB partnership program management, from strategic execution and optimization to program operations.
- Source, recruit, and activate strategic partners, including marketplaces, niche industry publishers,agencies, professional communities, consultants, and B2B influencers.
- Collaborate with and optimize existing partners to drive pipeline growth, lead quality, and revenue attribution.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs. Lead contract negotiations and renewals to secure long-term partnerships.
- Effectively manage budget across affiliate, referral, and partner channels, with a focus on pipeline contribution, CAC efficiency, and ROI.
- Provide regular performance reporting, highlighting lead quality, funnel progression, partner ROI, and strategic growth opportunities.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing B2SMB affiliate, referral, or partner programs with proven success in accelerating customer acquisition or pipeline growth through partnerships.
- Deep understanding of B2B buying cycles, attribution challenges, and the partner ecosystem (affiliate, referral, marketplace, and strategic alliances).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to leadership, documenting, and putting together reports that illustrate program performance.
- An analytical approach to partnership marketing and decision-making, weaving in data where there is an opportunity.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking and execution; able to shift from big-picture ecosystem design to hands-on partner activation.
- A relationship-builder mindset, with experience negotiating contracts, setting partner terms, and growing mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Experience in relevant verticals such as SaaS, FinTech, B2B services, or prosumer subscription models.
- Familiarity with partner tech stacks (Impact, PartnerStack, Everflow, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)
- Background in other marketing channels and a solid understanding of how they can work together to fuel growth.
