Description

Vega is one of the fastest-growing startups in cybersecurity, redefining security analytics and operations with an AI-native platform for the SOC. We are building the next-generation operating system for security teams - already delivering real impact at some of the world's largest organizations by improving detection, unlocking the value of their security data, and reducing cost and complexity. With HQs in New York and TLV, we're looking for people who want to be a part of the next rocket-ship in cyber.

The Role

You'll be the strategic owner of Vega's brand identity - partnering with the Creative Design Lead, our external brand partner, and the wider design team to evolve the visual language across every surface: web, events, product, social, decks, and swag.

This is a role for someone who thinks in systems, sees a brand as a living thing, and can translate strategy into beautifully crafted visual work. If you've been waiting to take ownership of a brand at the moment it's evolving with real depth and maturity, this is the role.

What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve Vega's brand identity system: typography, color, layout, and character.
  • Partner with our external brand agency on the current refresh, then own the system in-house going forward.
  • Translate the brand narrative into visual language across every touchpoint.
  • Review and elevate brand-driven output across the team — decks, social, events, web.
  • Build and maintain brand guidelines the rest of the team and our stakeholders can rely on.
  • Help shape how the brand shows up in the product, alongside our product design team.
  • Mentor across the design team and raise the visual bar on everyone's work.
  • Work with our illustration partner to evolve the illustration system and pixel art language.
Requirements

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years in brand design at a high-quality agency or in-house team.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a brand identity from strategy to system to execution.
  • Strong typography skills — type doing real work, not decoration.
  • Sharp visual judgment: restraint, intentionality, craft.
  • Fluent in Figma, Adobe Suite, and adjacent design tools.
  • Experience writing or contributing to brand guidelines and design systems.
  • Comfortable presenting brand thinking and decisions to leadership.

Nice to Have

  • Cybersecurity, developer tools, or B2B SaaS background.
  • Editorial, magazine, or print design experience.
  • Interest in pixel art, voxel art, illustration, or character design.
  • Familiarity with how brand systems translate into motion.
