About this role:

Tribe Gaming is seeking an experienced Senior Broadcast Producer to join our growing team! In this role, you will be managing the Live Broadcast team, as well as leading the execution of all remote & in person broadcasts. This is a collaborative role that will be working hand-in-hand with our Creative, Content, and Partnerships teams. At Tribe Gaming, collaboration and execution are crucial to our success. You will join a young and dynamic team that is always hungry to develop and evolve our broadcasts. You should be curious about (mobile) gaming, excited to work in a fast-paced environment and have a desire to improve our work and processes.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead execution of all remote & in-person live broadcast productions from start to finish, ensuring a seamless and engaging broadcast.
    • Evaluate all broadcast requirements on a project-by-project basis, identifying the need for additional support or equipment as well as sourcing, vetting and managing qualified contractors as needed.
    • Coordinate all relevant operational information for live broadcast events, including remote broadcast technology, technical requirements, and facility information.
    • Serve as the Technical Director for live and live-to-tape shows, ensuring smooth technical execution and visuals.
  • Manage the Broadcast Production team – from day-to-day management including scheduling and delegating broadcast tasks to overall talent development including performance reviews and collaborating on the direction of the team with leadership.
  • Lead the production planning of Live Broadcast and Tournament events, including working with partnerships to build RoS, Creative team to request and develop broadcast assets, and the Social Team to assist with shoulder content.
  • Collaborate across departments to align on client needs and sales goals for shows, ensuring all elements are delivered successfully. 
  • Establish strong relationships with external clients as the Live Broadcast subject matter expert for Tribe Gaming.
  • Lead the innovation of the Live Broadcast product - proactively coming up with ways to elevate and grow our offerings by monitoring broadcast trends or outside-of-the box, creative thinking. 
  • Establish best practices, define processes, and maintain consistent workflows for the execution of events, broadcasts, and tournaments.
  • Track and report on the performance of Live Broadcasts, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in directing and executing live and taped broadcast productions, including both in-studio and remote settings.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute large-scale events with attention to detail and tight deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of broadcast technology, equipment, and production workflows.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and design engaging content for a diverse audience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and align across departments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of effectively coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to support live event broadcasts.
