A Day in the Life:

  • Partner with DevTools engineers and technical stakeholders to capture, clarify, and maintain requirements across CI/CD Recovery, Repository Governance, and Curation initiatives.
  • Translate technical discussions into clear requirements, process documentation, workflows, decisions, and actionable project deliverables.
  • Document recovery procedures, governance standards, operational processes, and technical dependencies to support consistency and long-term maintainability.
  • Track scope, milestones, risks, timelines, and cross-initiative dependencies, proactively identifying gaps or blockers that could impact delivery.
  • Apply a working understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory when documenting current-state and future-state processes.
  • Support repository governance and DevSecOps-related efforts, including documentation of standards, controls, ownership, and open-source governance processes.
  • Actively use AI tools, including Claude through our Anthropic partnership, to streamline tasks, improve the quality of your work, and share best practices with teammates while continuously seeking new ways to integrate AI into your everyday workflows
  • Assist with readiness and discovery activities for a potential GitHub and GitHub Actions migration, including requirements, dependencies, process impacts, and documentation needs.
  • Facilitate alignment between engineers and DevTools stakeholders by documenting decisions, action items, open questions, and changes in scope.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation that gives technical teams clear visibility into requirements, processes, decisions, and delivery status.
  • Availability to work Central Time Zone hours to support daily collaboration with the DevTools team and project stakeholders.

What it takes:

  • Consultative approach and problem solving skills to successfully align digital solutions with long-term business goals of the client
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance daily work, or a strong desire to do so, including a willingness to experiment, learn, and champion AI adoption within your role
  • Claude Certified Developer or Architect highly preferred; possible opportunity to obtain as a Sparq colleague
  • Commitment to understanding and exceeding client expectations
  • Ability to perform project oversight and execution of deliverables
  • Flexibility to adapt within a high-growth organization
