Launch Your Next Successful Chapter with Veta Virtual! 🚀

💸 Competitive Base in USD | 💻 100% Remote | 🎯 Senior Role | 🤝 Business Development + Client Experience

Veta Virtual is hiring a Senior Business Development Associate to join our own growing team. We are a human-centred operations partner for small and midsize firms in the US and Canada. Through our Remote Talent service, we place fully managed professionals from Latin America and Europe inside our clients’ teams. This is not a high-volume dialer role, and it is not a pure customer service role. You will open doors with new businesses, explain clearly why Remote Talent is a smart investment, and then make sure those clients feel looked after once they join.

🔑 Your Role

As our Senior Business Development Associate, you will split your time between growing demand for Remote Talent (about 60%) and supporting our Client Experience (CX) team (about 40%). You will report directly to Veta leadership and work closely with our CX lead. You will have real ownership: we set the goals, and you decide how to reach them. Your day-to-day will involve:

Business Development (about 60%)

  • Running daily outbound outreach (cold calls, personalized email sequences, and LinkedIn) to start conversations with US and Canadian business owners and decision-makers.
  • Executing outreach campaigns built with our marketing team, and sharing what works so we can sharpen messaging, lists, and targeting.
  • Qualifying leads and leading discovery and sales meetings, where you explain how Remote Talent works and the value it brings to each client’s business.
  • Handling objections with confidence and moving prospects toward a signed agreement, working alongside leadership on larger opportunities.
  • Owning your pipeline in our CRM: every lead tracked, every follow-up on time, nothing dropped.
  • Handing new clients over to onboarding smoothly, so their first weeks with Veta match what you promised.

Client Experience Support (about 40%)

  • Supporting current Remote Talent clients with day-to-day questions, updates, and follow-ups.
  • Helping with client onboarding and regular check-ins, together with our CX lead.
  • Spotting client needs early, including new roles a client may want to fill, and passing them to the right person.
  • Being a calm, professional point of contact who represents Veta well in every interaction.

✅ What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years in B2B business development, sales, or account management, with a track record of creating pipeline and winning new clients for a services business.
  • Experience in client success, account management, or CX. You know how to keep a client happy after the sale.
  • Fluent, near-native English, spoken and written. You can lead a sales conversation with a US business owner with confidence and ease.
  • The ability to explain value and return on investment in simple, convincing terms, and to answer objections like “why should I trust a remote hire?”
  • A true self-starter mindset. You plan your own week, chase your own leads, and ask for help only when you are blocked. If you need daily direction, this is not the role for you.
  • A warm, energetic, and approachable personality, with a confident, professional presence on video calls.
  • Coachable and team-minded. You act on feedback quickly and work well with people across the company.
  • Results-driven and comfortable working toward clear KPIs.
  • A reliable professional home office: quality headset, high-speed internet with a backup connection, and a quiet workspace.
  • Full-time availability aligned with US Eastern Time (EST) business hours.
  • To be considered for this role, you must currently be based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe.

🎖 Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience selling remote staffing, outsourcing, recruiting, or other B2B services to US small and midsize businesses.
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Experience with sales engagement and prospecting tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or ZoomInfo.
  • Comfort using AI tools to research prospects, personalize outreach, and work faster.
  • Experience in a fast-growing, fully remote company.

💼 What We Offer

  • 💸 Competitive base salary in USD, paid monthly.
  • 🌴 10 paid days off plus applicable US and Canada shared holidays.
  • 💻 100% remote work from anywhere in LATAM or Europe.
  • 🎯 Real ownership and impact. You will help shape how Veta grows its Remote Talent business, with direct access to leadership.
  • 🤝 A supportive, people-first culture where your ideas matter.
