About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to help drive the next stage of growth across SketchDeck and the broader 24 Seven family of companies.

This is a full-cycle, revenue-carrying role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and helping clients solve complex business challenges through creative solutions. You’ll own your pipeline from prospecting through close, partnering with our creative, strategy, and operations teams to deliver thoughtful, high-impact solutions that grow into long-term partnerships.

You’ll sell across a broad portfolio of services—including creative production, branding, content, digital experiences, paid media, and flexible talent solutions—connecting clients with the right expertise for their business.

We’re looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, consultative, and excited to help shape our business's future growth.

You will report to the SVP, Client Services.

Preferred: Eastern or Central Time Zone

What You’ll Do:

Business Development & Growth

  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting through close and long-term account growth
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development
  • Identify and engage senior marketing, brand, and creative decision-makers, including VP and C-level stakeholders
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover business challenges and position the right solutions
  • Develop proposals and commercial recommendations alongside creative and strategy teams
  • Negotiate scopes of work and commercial agreements
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene
  • Sell across the 24 Seven house of agencies—partnering with SketchDeck, Futureman, Markacy, and 24 Seven to co-sell and unlock larger, integrated opportunities

Strategic Creative Partnership

  • Build trusted client relationships that extend beyond individual projects
  • Position SketchDeck and our partner agencies as strategic creative partners rather than transactional vendors
  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships across teams, service lines, and brands
  • Help clients understand how creative investment supports measurable business outcomes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Creative Directors, Strategists, Project Directors, and Operations to develop thoughtful, executable solutions
  • Ensure work is scoped appropriately and transitions smoothly into delivery
  • Share market insights and client feedback that help shape future offerings and go-to-market strategy
What Success Looks Like:
  • Building and consistently converting a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Winning new client partnerships while expanding existing relationships over time
  • Becoming a trusted advisor to marketing, brand, and creative leaders
  • Driving sustainable revenue growth across SketchDeck and the broader 24 Seven portfolio
  • Collaborating effectively across teams to deliver an exceptional client experience from first conversation through delivery

Requirements
  • 7+ years of business development experience within a creative, marketing, digital, or advertising agency, with a proven track record of winning new business.
  • Demonstrated success carrying and achieving revenue targets, with experience managing consultative sales cycles from prospecting through close.
  • Experience selling complex, solution-based services to marketing, brand, or creative leaders at mid-market and enterprise organizations.
  • A self-starter who consistently builds pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship development, rather than relying primarily on inbound opportunities.
  • Experience partnering with creative, strategy, and operations teams to develop proposals, scope work, and transition opportunities into successful client engagements.
Preferred
  • Experience selling across multiple creative or marketing service lines (branding, creative production, content, digital, media, talent, etc.)
  • Existing relationships within consumer brands, retail, beauty, fashion, luxury, hospitality, or CPG organizations
  • Experience managing six- and seven-figure engagements or growing strategic client partnerships over time

Benefits

Compensation:
Base Salary: $125k – $150k
Commission: Uncapped — your earnings grow as your book grows
Expected OTE (fully ramped): $150k – $225k+
*Individual compensation packages are based on experience, demonstrated performance, market factors, and other job-related considerations.

  • 401(k) with company match
  • Fully remote working environment (established pre-COVID and continuing forward)
  • Paid time off that grows with tenure
  • Annual company retreat
  • Computer hardware of your choice (up to $1,500)
  • $500 towards your office setup expenses
  • To work with a talented team of designers, team members, and engineers

We value diverse perspectives and are committed to an environment where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work daily. If youʼre excited about the role but donʼt meet every qualification, we still encourage you to apply—studies show that women and people of color are less likely to apply unless they meet all the requirements.
