Humana is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer who solves complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will report to Marco Aquino- Business Intelligence Lead. You will solve complex business problems using data from internal and external sources. You will provide insight to decision-makers via actionable and aesthetically pleasing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
You will collect, integrate, analyze, and present the sales organization's raw data to create insightful business information. You will work with senior sales leaders. You will obtain feedback and requirements from customers and turn them into complex, dynamic, and aesthetically pleasing reports and dashboards in Power BI. Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop customized, dynamic, and aesthetically pleasing online reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI
- Design and customize data visualizations, including charts, tables, and report layouts
- Work directly with market and corporate executives and their teams, helping them use data and technology to maximize growth
- Analyze different sales data to obtain insights
- Write queries to pull and analyze data from data sets and platforms
Use your skills to make an impact
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Power BI
- Experience in UI/UX, data visualization, or graphic design
- SQL knowledge, including writing complex, performant queries to pull data from multiple platforms including SQL Server
- 3+ years of experience analyzing data to solve different business problems
- Experience creating data visualizations that inspire strategic direction
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience in user experience and user interface design
- Advanced degree or certification in data visualization, UI/UX, or graphic design
- Experience building Power BI dataflows
- Experience creating analytics solutions for healthcare sectors
- Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
