Senior Business Operations AI Program Manager (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)

Overview:

The Senior Business Operations AI Program Manager is a high-impact role responsible for supporting AI forward operational processes across the functional departments at Weedmaps. This role works closely with cross functional teams to understand their operations then plan and implement AI based solutions in partnership with key technology org stakeholders. As a senior strategic partner, you will bridge the gap between executive AI vision and tangible operational reality, ensuring that AI operational deployment is aligned with overarching business goals.

The impact you'll make:

  • AI Program Management: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI programs, from identifying high-impact operational use cases to full-scale deployment and continuous optimization.
  • AI Enablement & Workflow Integration: Design and implement scalable operational frameworks that incorporate AI into existing business workflows to improve team velocity, resource allocation, and decision-making accuracy.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the primary technical-operational bridge between technology org AI stakeholders and business stakeholders, ensuring AI is effectively tuned to solve departmental bottlenecks.
  • AI Governance & Ethics: Collaborate with Legal and Information Security to ensure all AI deployments adhere to the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technology Policy, focusing on data privacy, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Advanced Data Analytics: Utilize AI-driven insights and business metrics to monitor the health of ongoing programs, providing predictive reporting to leadership on the ROI of AI enablement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations and resolve high-level conflicts across diverse executive teams, serving as the subject matter expert on how AI can augment human workforce capabilities.
  • Change Management for the AI Era: Drive organizational culture shifts toward AI-native operations, implementing training programs and feedback loops to ensure seamless human-AI collaboration.
  • Operational Excellence: Continuously evaluate the evolving AI landscape to identify new AI-based technologies that can further streamline internal processes and support market expansion.

What you've accomplished:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in program management, business operations, or management consulting, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth tech environment with at least 2 years specifically focused on AI or automation initiatives.
  • AI Expertise: Demonstrated experience in deploying AI solutions, specifically large language model (LLM) applications, AI agents, or automated decision-support systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in project management tools (Jira, Confluence) and a deep understanding of AI-related technical stacks, APIs, and data visualization tools like Tableau.  
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: A proven track record of creating structure in highly ambiguous environments and leading complex, high-stakes organizational pivots.  
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex AI and operational concepts into clear, executive-level strategies and summaries.  
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science;

Bonus points: 

  • A solid understanding of the cannabis tech landscape or experience in a similarly highly-regulated industry 

The base pay range for this position is $126,765 - $155,000 per year
