Senior Business Operations Analyst at Handoff

We're hiring a Senior Business Operations Analyst to help improve how Handoff operates as we scale. You'll work closely with our COO on operational initiatives, financial analysis, company planning, internal processes, and special projects across the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, works well independently, and thrives in fast-moving startup environments. One day you might update a financial model, the next you might help improve a hiring process or build a company dashboard.

You'll have broad exposure to the business while working on projects that directly impact how Handoff operates and grows.

What you'll do

  • Facilitate Handoff's departmental planning process — driving submissions, tracking progress, and holding teams accountable
  • Maintain and continuously improve company-wide dashboards, KPIs, and operational tooling
  • Provide support on board decks, investor updates, and executive materials
  • Build and maintain financial models; help prepare analysis for key business decisions
  • Track departmental budgets and flag spend variances
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and renewals
  • Codify work norms and operating standards as the company scales
  • Assist with prep and logistics for company all-hands meetings and recurring leadership syncs
  • Assist with planning & execution of internal events and company off-sites

About you

  • 3–7 years of experience in business operations, consulting, finance, analytics, strategy, or startup operations.
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • Comfortable building models and analyzing data.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • High ownership and strong follow-through.
  • Able to work independently and solve ambiguous problems.
  • Comfortable moving between strategic and operational work.
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus

What we offer

  • Competitive Salary + Equity
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 401(k)
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Life & Disability Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA)
  • Top-Notch Equipment
  • Team Offsites

If you're a sharp, hungry operator who wants to work directly with a COO building a company from the ground up — this is the seat. You'll see everything, own a lot, and grow fast.
