Job DescriptionAbout Us: Whole Foods Market is the world's leading retailer of natural/organic foods with more than 500 stores in the U.S.A, Canada, and the United Kingdom. 
Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Change Management Lead to drive and support change initiatives within our Merchandising and Merchandising support teams. This role will engage cross-functionally with stakeholders across Whole Foods Market and Amazon to develop and implement frameworks, processes, and strategies that enable effective and sustainable change across Medium to Large sized projects for the Merchandising organization.  
Location: This role is based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of five days per week in the Store Support office. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Leads or consults on change management projects inclusive of change planning, authoring change communications, and stakeholder engagement. 

  • Partners with Merch Enablement Learning and Development (L&D) to identify training needs to support change efforts as it relates to Team Members, process, and tools.  

  • Understands how change management will impact business needs or goals.  

  • Contributes to development of processes, templates, and ways of working.  

  • Collaborates well with cross functional Teams and Teams Members.  

  • Delivers clear, concise updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency. 

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and escalate appropriately to Team Leader.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • 4-6 years of experience in change management, strategic/business planning, or project management. 

  • Experience implementing change initiatives within an organization.  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Expertise in defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and establishing accountability frameworks (e.g., RACI matrices). 

  • Experience navigating large retail organizations and collaborating across multiple business functions. 

  • Analytical problem-solving skills with a proactive, results-driven approach. 

  • Solution oriented and team players.  

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
