We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. What you will be doing:

  • Build, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Manage and optimize compute resources, specifically including Amazon EC2 instances and related services.

  • Configure ArgoCD or similar tools for GitOps, multi-tenant deployment solutions, and continuous delivery pipelines.

  • Architect, deploy, and manage container orchestration platforms, primarily Kubernetes.

  • Implement and manage security and secrets management tools, including HashiCorp Vault.

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using configuration management tools, placing a strong emphasis on Ansible.

  • Monitor system performance, identify and solve issues, and ensure alignment to guidelines and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to setting technical direction and standards for the infrastructure team.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of professional experience in an infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE role.

  • Deep expertise with AWS services (VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).

  • Proven hands-on experience with EC2 instance management and optimization.

  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot to enhance code quality and development efficiency.

  • Significant experience working with configuration management tools, especially Ansible.

  • Strong understanding and experience with Kubernetes administration and deployment.

  • Experience implementing and managing HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing).

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Deep understanding and usage of either Cassandra or DynamoDB.

  • Experience with other IaC tools (e.g., CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog).

  • Experience developing and building Zero Trust networks and secure multi-cloud networks.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 270,250 USD for Level 4, and 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
