Senior Cloud Solution Consultant, Success Delivery

The Calix Success Delivery Team is seeking a Senior Cloud Solution Consultant to lead complex cloud implementations for Broadband Service Providers. In this role, you will architect, implement, and optimize Calix Cloud solutions while serving as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal teams. You will drive successful outcomes by combining deep technical expertise with strong customer engagement and cross‑functional collaboration. 

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement end‑to‑end SaaS onboarding solutions using REST/JSON APIs and ETL workflows
  • Translate customer business requirements into executable technical plans, dependencies, and delivery milestones 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, conducting regular check‑ins and proactively identifying risks, optimization opportunities, and value realization 
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks, managing escalations through resolution
  • Partner with Delivery Teams, Project Managers, Broadband Service Providers, and OSS/BSS vendors to
  • Ensure timely and successful implementations
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Services, and Success teams on implementations, testing, and internal initiatives
  • Develop and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, playbooks, and knowledge base content
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs), project status, and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Ensure all customer solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience designing, integrating, and supporting cloud applications using REST/JSON APIs and complex datasets
  • Strong expertise in microservices‑based architectures and API orchestration
  • Advanced working knowledge of database technologies, including SQL schema design, functions, and performance optimization 
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy for data analysis and automation
  • Hands‑on experience with service provider networking technologies, including NetFlow/IPFIX, TR‑69, DHCP (Option‑82/43), NAT/CGNAT, GPON, DSL, and Layer 2/Layer 3 routing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive‑level presence and facilitation experience
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple complex initiatives, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time 

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Calix products, platforms, or comparable telecom SaaS solutions
  • Background in OSS/BSS enterprise architectures within telecom or MSO environments, including end‑to‑end solution design and delivery. 
  • Telecommunications industry experience. 
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana 
  • Working knowledge of Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, and TaskRay

The base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

San Francisco Bay Area:

132,300 - 211,600 USD Annual

Select US Metros and States:

115,000 - 184,000 USD Annual

Other US Locations:

103,500 - 165,600 USD Annual
