JOB TITLE: Senior Communications Manager

LOCATION: REMOTE US

THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a highly skilled, strategic, and creative Senior Communications Manager to help shape how Splice and Spitfire Audio communicate - internally, externally, and across our evolving business. This is a high-visibility role that combines storytelling, strategic thinking, and flawless execution. The ideal candidate brings originality and fresh ideas, is comfortable operating autonomously, and serves as a true partner in shaping the narrative of the company.

What You'll Do
Strategic Communications

  • Develop and execute strategic communication plans that elevate our brand and strengthen internal alignment across Splice and Spitfire Audio.
  • Anticipate communication needs by proactively scanning for risks, updates, and organizational changes that require messaging.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across GTM, Product, Marketing, and People teams.

Internal Communications & Executive Support

  • Manage and run company-wide Town Halls from agenda to run-of-show
  • Create company-wide emails, Slack posts, updates, FAQs, and announcements with clarity, speed, and sensitivity.
  • Help build and maintain a modern, predictable communications operating system: calendars, templates, workflows, and feedback loops.
  • Act as a buffer for comms requests, triaging, drafting, and responding to incoming needs to protect leadership time.

External Communications & GTM Storytelling

  • Write compelling GTM campaigns, press releases, blog posts, and product narratives for both Splice and Spitfire Audio.
  • Bring out-of-the-box storytelling ideas to elevate how we talk about our products, creators, and innovation.
  • Build and nurture relationships with journalists in the music technology and creator-economy space.
  • Ensure message alignment across Splice and SFA, acting as connective tissue between brands.

Presentation

  • Use Google Docs and Google Slides to craft clear, visual, high-impact presentations.
  • Deliver polished materials for internal meetings, leadership reviews, and external partners.

Collate

  • Track and analyze communications engagement; provide insights and recommendations to improve clarity and reach.
  • Stay on top of industry and competitive trends to ensure our messaging remains bold, modern, and differentiated.

You will be successful in this role if you can:

  • Produce clear, polished communications across internal updates, GTM announcements, narratives, FAQs, and executive messaging.
  • Turn complex concepts into simple, crisp, compelling messaging, whether for employees, creators, or external partners.
  • Bring fresh, modern ideas that elevate how we communicate across formats, channels, and audiences.
  • Anticipate communication needs before they arise, surfacing risks, opportunities, and messaging moments early.
  • Build structure and predictability; maintain Company Communications Calendar, via close connection with executive planning teams and all PR reporting systems.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of music production, creator culture, and the communities we serve, enabling you to storytell with authenticity and authority.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner on messaging, GTM strategy, and narrative development—comfortable pressure-testing ideas, proposing angles, and shaping how we show up internally and externally.

SPLICE BENEFITS:

  • Compensation & Equity: Competitive pay with annual reviews and equity opportunities.
  • Time Off: Unlimited PTO to recharge and thrive.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
  • Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with immediate vesting and company match.
  • Parental Support: 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for non-birthing parents, and 18-20 weeks for birthing parents.
  • Flexible Work Options: Work remotely or connect at our office hubs and creative spaces worldwide.
  • Professional Growth: Annual learning budget, leadership programs, and team ambassador opportunities.
  • Community & Connection: Inclusive events, team meet-ups, and vibrant Employee Resource Groups.

The national pay range for this role is $108,478- $135,587.00. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
