Team Overview

The Data Science and Analytics team develops advanced analytics and artificial intelligence solutions that address complex business challenges and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The team translates business strategy into scalable analytics solutions designed to generate measurable impact. Operating in a cross-functional environment, the team partners closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Data Science and Analytics. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of complex machine learning, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence solutions that address strategic business challenges and deliver measurable value.

  • Establish technical standards, reusable best practices, and solution-design approaches that improve the quality, scalability, and performance of data science initiatives.

  • Provide technical direction across multiple projects, helping teams translate business requirements into scalable analytical and machine learning solutions.

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, from problem definition and analytical design through production implementation and ongoing improvement.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to strengthen automation, analytical capabilities, and the responsible adoption of new solutions.

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and business leaders to align technical solutions with business priorities and support cross-functional program execution.

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor by presenting analytical findings, business impact, and recommendations to technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Mentor and coach team members, lead knowledge-sharing activities, and contribute technical expertise to hiring efforts.

  • Champion innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement while influencing technical and strategic decisions across teams and business functions.


Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field, or equivalent knowledge and experience relevant to data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics.

  • Four to six years of experience in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics, or a related discipline.

  • Experience leading complex analytics or machine learning initiatives through design, development, implementation, and delivery.

  • Experience providing technical guidance, mentoring colleagues, and supporting knowledge development across a team.

  • Experience translating complex business challenges into analytical solutions and communicating recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling, including the ability to select and apply appropriate approaches to complex business problems.

  • Advanced proficiency with Python and Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis, modeling, and solution development.

  • Experience using BigQuery and modern machine learning tools or ecosystems.

  • Experience working with cloud-based artificial intelligence and data platforms.

  • Experience developing scalable, production-grade machine learning solutions with appropriate quality and performance standards.
