Build the future of offensive security with XBOW. Attackers are already using AI to move faster than defenders can react—we’re creating the platform that puts security ahead in the arms race. Our AI-powered system autonomously discovers, validates, and even exploits vulnerabilities, giving organizations proof-backed results in hours instead of weeks.
Founded by Oege de Moor, creator of GitHub Copilot, and backed by Sequoia, Altimeter, and other leading investors, XBOW is applying cutting-edge AI to one of the world’s most urgent problems. In just over a year, our AI—built by a world-class AI team and legendary security researchers—has uncovered thousands of real-world zero-days across the software billions rely on, and achieved the #1 ranking on HackerOne’s global leaderboard.
We’re a team of builders, hackers, and researchers who thrive on solving problems others think are impossible. If you want to push the boundaries of AI, reshape how security is done, and join the group defining this new era of defense—we’d love to talk.
Your Role: Senior Content Marketing ManagerWe’re looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager who can build and scale a content engine that establishes XBOW as the category-defining leader in autonomous offensive security. This role is responsible for turning deep technical innovation into clear, compelling, high-impact content that drives awareness, trust, and pipeline across technical practitioners and executive buyers.
You’ll sit at the center of product, research, marketing, and GTM—developing editorial strategy, shaping the voice of XBOW, and producing content that educates the market, differentiates our platform, and tells the story of what’s possible when AI powers offensive security at scale.
You’ll thrive here if you love translating complex topics into content people actually want to read, can move quickly from strategy to execution, and are excited to help define an entirely new category in cybersecurity.
What you will doOwn XBOW’s content strategy across the full funnel: awareness, consideration, and conversion
Develop and maintain an editorial calendar that balances product narratives, technical thought leadership, and customer proof points
Write and edit high-quality content across formats: blogs, technical explainers, executive POV pieces, research narratives, product announcements, and website copy
Partner with Product, Security Research, and Engineering to translate technical capabilities (AI-driven discovery, exploit validation, autonomous learning systems) into clear, differentiated storytelling
Build a repeatable process for capturing insights from internal experts and converting them into publishable content
Create content campaigns tied to launches, competitive moments, and security events—supporting go-to-market initiatives end-to-end
Produce and package customer stories, case studies, ROI narratives, and impact-driven proof points
Collaborate with Demand Gen and Sales on content that drives pipeline: landing pages, nurture sequences, sales collateral, and product education materials
Partner with Comms/PR and Analyst Relations to support thought leadership, briefings, and narrative consistency
Establish and track content performance metrics (engagement, traffic, conversion, pipeline influence) and iterate based on what’s working
Help evolve XBOW’s tone, voice, and messaging consistency across channels
Essential:
Significant experience in content marketing, editorial strategy, or technical storytelling (B2B preferred)
Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio demonstrating clarity, quality, and range (technical + executive content)
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and credibly
Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Research, and GTM teams
Strong strategic mindset paired with a bias for execution—you can ship high-impact work quickly
Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure in fast-moving environments
Data-driven approach to content performance, with the ability to test, learn, and iterate
Advantageous:
Experience in cybersecurity, developer tools, infrastructure, or AI-native products
Experience in supporting Social Media content and strategy
Background writing for technical audiences (security practitioners, engineers, researchers)
Familiarity with offensive security concepts, vulnerability research, pentesting workflows, or AppSec ecosystems
Experience shaping thought leadership for founders, executives, or research teams
Exposure to content distribution strategy (SEO, social, newsletters, community, earned media)
Compensation & Equity: Competitive salary and equity package, making you a true owner of the company
Career Growth: Shape the content function and grow with the company as we define a new security category
Meaningful Work: Help build the narrative for a platform transforming cybersecurity through AI—alongside world-class researchers and builders
We aren’t focused on seniority titles at XBOW—so if you’re worried about “leveling,” don’t be. We care far more about mission fit, capability, and impact than what’s on your LinkedIn headline.
We believe in people driven by curiosity and a willingness to learn. Even if you don’t check every box, we encourage you to apply if you’re excited about the role.
