Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Creative Designer to lead the design and development of exceptional user experience for web and mobile applications. In this role, you will combine creativity, technical expertise, and user insights to create intuitive and visually compelling designs that align with business goals and enhance customer satisfaction. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and user-centered solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design & Development:
    • Create and optimize user experiences for internal web and mobile applications using wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
    • Translate wireframes into detailed mockups and interactive prototypes.
    • Apply metrics, customer insights, and user feedback to refine designs.
    • Advanced Figma skills, with experience creating and maintaining component-based design systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Present UX designs to stakeholders, users, and development teams in both formal and informal settings.
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and iterate designs based on feedback.
  • Brand Consistency:
    • Maintain and enforce digital brand consistency, ensuring compliance with design standards, typography, color schemes, and best practices.
    • Deliver consistent and innovative designs across all digital platforms.
  • Agile Environment:
    • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and code reviews.
    • Contribute to ongoing improvements in workflows and methodologies.
  • Project Involvement:
    • Engage in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, user analysis, information architecture (IA), UI design, and implementation.
  • Tool Proficiency:
    • Utilize Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and collaboration.
    • Leverage collaboration tools like Miro and AWS DevOps to enhance team productivity.
 

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Interactive Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 6+ years of experience designing enterprise software, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
    • Proven expertise showcased through a strong portfolio of UX/UI design projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to present and articulate design ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with prototyping tools, including Figma.
    • Up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and methodologies.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 34,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 137,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is also available for independent contractors
