The RoleWe are seeking a Creative Senior Producer to act as the bridge between creative vision and execution, managing digital, brand, and design projects from kickoff to delivery.
The Creative Senior Producer will be responsible for leading and owning creative projects directly, as well as working with Production Leads on larger, integrated, cross-functional projects such as Activations, Events, and Installations. The role focuses on day-to-day team activities, coordinating efforts to deliver the client’s engagements successfully. They should be comfortable producing a project independently with and without support from junior staff.
This role will require travel to facilitate face-to-face client interactions and to oversee creative production in person when needed. The Senior Creative Producer will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
This is a leadership role, ideal for someone with significant experience in creative production, project management, and a passion for delivering exceptional design and creative outcomes. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, a natural collaborator, and has hands-on experience managing a variety of creative projects while staying on time, scope & budget. This role is for someone with an affinity for youth culture, fashion, sport, and design.
What You’ll Do- Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management for creative campaigns, design projects, digital experiences, and branding initiatives. Ensure seamless coordination and execution from inception to completion.
- Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and setting clear expectations. Translate client needs and goals into actionable project plans and deliverables.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior producers and cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, strategists, and creatives. Provide guidance and support to ensure projects are progressing smoothly.
- Budget & Scheduling: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Track progress, anticipate issues, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of the final product, ensuring that the creative vision is upheld and that deliverables meet the client’s standards. Ensure that all projects comply with internal processes and industry best practices.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues and roadblocks quickly and efficiently. Maintain flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changes in project scope or direction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (creative, marketing, and technical) to ensure that projects align with the company’s vision, objectives, and client needs. Foster a collaborative environment throughout all stages of production.
- Reporting: Regularly update clients and internal stakeholders on project status, timelines, and deliverables. Provide detailed project reports and post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel based on needs which include, Hovercraft sponsored interoffice activities, company and department retreats, Production support for shoots, site visits, and activations, and client workshops/onboarding opportunities
- Experience: 6-8+ years of experience in a senior production role at a creative agency, design studio, or similar environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design, digital, and spatial projects.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading teams, managing cross-functional collaborations, and guiding projects to successful outcomes and managing projects to established budget and scope.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain creative ideas, production processes, and project details to clients and internal teams.
- Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Excel, Airtable, Trello, Basecamp, Notion, etc.), as well as familiarity with design software like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools.
- Team Management Experience: Experience leading small and large, distributed cross-competency (e.g. technology, design, UX, product, innovation) teams across a suitable range of project types (tech-heavy, design intensive, etc.)
- Strong Writing and Communication Skills: Proficiency with internal documentation, organizing feedback and notes, organizing tasks and deliverables, developing Scope of Works and working with clients and partners through external communications.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate potential issues and take proactive steps to address challenges. Resourceful, adaptable, and creative in finding solutions.
- Creative Insight: A deep understanding of design, branding, and digital experiences, with the ability to make informed decisions that align with both client needs and industry trends.
The total average salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications assessed during the interview process (such as skills and prior industry experience, potential impact), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified.
