At Tilt, we see a side of people that traditional lenders miss. Our mobile-first products and machine learning-powered credit models look beyond credit scores, using over 250 real-time financial signals to recognize real potential. With millions of customers worldwide, we're not just changing how people access financial products — we're creating a new credit system that backs the working, whatever they're working toward.

The Opportunity: Senior Credit Manager, US Card

Tilt is looking for a Senior Credit Manager to join our Card Customer Management team, focused on Line Management. Our existing line increase programs are healthy, but there's significant untapped opportunity beyond them: recovering spend, unlocking underutilized usage, and building the next generation of line management programs. This role exists to find and build that opportunity.
You'll work at the intersection of credit policy, quantitative analysis, and program design, partnering closely with Data Science and Product while independently owning the analytical work behind new program ideas — from identifying the opportunity, to designing and testing a policy, to scaling what works. This is an individual-contributor role with outsized visibility: you won't manage a team, but you will regularly partner with and influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across the business.
This role is a great fit for someone who wants deep ownership of high-impact analytical work and who's energized by taking a loosely-defined problem space and independently driving it to a tested, scalable solution — without waiting to be told what to build.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Ideate and build new line management programs: Independently identify, design, and test new programs and policies that complement our existing line management programs — for example, over-limit policies, dynamic or instant line increases, or incentive-based credit line increases.

  • Own the analytical work end-to-end: Run your own SQL- and/or Python-based analysis to size opportunities, structure tests, and evaluate results, turning insights into a roadmap you build in partnership with Data Science and Product.

  • Partner closely with Data Science: Identify opportunities where a new or enhanced risk models would outperform the existing approach, then partner with DS to define success criteria and serve as the business owner driving that model forward.

  • Drive through ambiguity with urgency: Take undefined, loosely-scoped problem spaces and independently turn them into concrete, tested programs — scoping the approach, building the test, and pushing it through to a result using your own judgment, without needing to be directed step by step.

  • Communicate with precision and influence: Translate complex analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations for senior stakeholders, and build the credibility to shape decisions without formal authority.

Why You're a Great Fit
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or similar); advanced degree a plus.

  • 5-7 years of experience in credit risk, data analytics, or a related quantitative discipline, ideally in consumer lending or fintech.

  • Strong SQL or Python skills — you're comfortable running your own queries independently, and you're able to pair that effectively with AI tools to execute on analysis

  • Excellent communication skills — able to go deep in the analytical weeds and also distill findings clearly for an executive audience.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and build trust with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners without formal reporting authority.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts, with comfort operating in ambiguity and a track record of driving projects forward independently.

  • A creative, action-oriented approach — someone who prototypes, tests, and iterates rather than waiting for a fully-defined problem statement.

  • Eagerness to learn new tools and methods, and to stay current with trends in credit, lending, and AI.

Don’t meet every qualification? We care about potential over your past. If you're bringing ambition and drive to what we're building, we want to hear from you.
