JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Transformation Engagement Manager is a core member of Apptronik’s commercial team, responsible for pioneering, selling, and delivering customer transformation programs (alongside the Head of Customer Transformation) that demonstrate the market viability and value delivery of Apollo and its surrounding product ecosystem.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and customer impact. It is designed for a hands-on leader who thrives in ambiguity, builds from scratch, and scrapy tenacity. They partner closely with the Head of Customer Transformation and Apptronik leadership to shape lighthouse customer engagements, develop the underlying architecture for repeatable transformation programs, and prove what successful humanoid adoption looks like in real-world customer environments.

As Apptronik scales, this role will continue to focus on the most complex, novel, and high-impact transformation engagements, while foundational workstreams and proven programs transition to more junior or specialized resources/teams


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support Transformation-Led Sales Cycles
    • Partner with sales and commercial leadership to target, shape, and support conversion
    • Serve as a transformation subject-matter expert in customer discussions, helping define scope, sequencing, success metrics, and value narratives 
    • Tailor messaging and approach to customer operating realities (ensure credibility and executable transformation programs aligned with Apollo’s capabilities and roadmap)
  • Build & Maintain Customer Transformation Methodology
    • Develop and continuously evolve Apptronik’s core methodology for executing customer transformation programs, including: End-to-end roadmaps, modular program components, engagement and delivery models, governance structures and operating cadence
    • Incorporate learnings from live customer engagements to ensure the methodology remains practical, scalable, and battle-tested
  • Lead Customer Transformation Engagements 
    • Own day-to-day (delivery – quality/timeline, and risk escalation) on select lighthouse transformation engagements
    • Develop custom transformation roadmaps for each engagement, including value sizing, KPI definition, and success metrics
    • Integrate and lead cross-functional teams including: Apptronik technical and product teams, strategy resources, third-party partners
    • Present regularly in senior internal and external meetings 
    • Manage program budgets with regular internal communication on financials, scope changes, risks, and tradeoffs
    • Make informed, creative recommendations for bespoke or interim solutions that preserve value while operating within real technical and roadmap constraint
  • Develop Repeatable Transformation Playbooks
    • Create reusable playbooks that codify best practices for transformation delivery across common customer scenarios
    • Define patterns, risks, adoption considerations, and mitigation strategies to enable consistent execution across engagements
  • Develop ROI Sizing & Value Realization Framework
    • Design a standardized/high-level approach (for priority industries/use cases) to: Size expected customer ROI pre-engagement, Communicate value clearly during the sales cycle, Track and validate realized impact during program execution
    • Align value metrics, KPIs, and success criteria that will resonate with these industries 
  • Lay the Foundation for Apptronik Academy
    • Contribute to the initial design and requirements definition for Apptronik Academy
    • Support the creation of a scalable enablement platform for customers, third parties/resellers
    • Help establish the foundation for what will become an industry standard for humanoid adoption, covering areas such as: Safety, data management, Operational redesign, tech stack needs, etc.) 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience within or directly serving industries such as: Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, Industrial goods
  • Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to: Drive meaningful business impact, influence outcomes without direct authority, translate strategy into executable programs
  • Comfort working closely with technical, product, and engineering teams; experience in AI, robotics, automation, or advanced technology environments is a plus but not required
  • Resourceful, judgment-driven, and comfortable owning high-visibility, high-complexity work

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 6–10 years of experience in: Management consulting (e.g., Project Leader–level at top-tier firms) AND/OR Industry roles with significant transformation or operational responsibility at large enterprises

Work From Home (WFH) Details:

Hybrid: Travel when required to complete work at hand (customer, headquarters, up to 50%), otherwise position will be remote.
