Responsible for managing sales of automated cutting machines, developing regional business plans, and improving customer satisfaction while utilizing sales processes and monitoring market activity.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will attain a level of technical efficiency that allows the professional presentation of ESAB and its products. This position is accountable for the successful management of a sales region involving, but not limited to, direct sales responsibility of automated cutting machines and cutting machine retrofits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Actively works with Field Sales Force and Distributor Network in targeting account penetration, qualification, relationship development, needs analysis, proposing solutions, and closing business of new cutting machines and retrofits.
- Effective utilization of sales processes (Value Selling, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, etc.) that drives desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to sales leadership.
- Develop a regional business plan to achieve sales goals and company objectives.
- Responsible for improving customer satisfaction; accountable for resolving customer problems.
- Fully communicate sales and marketing needs to sales leadership.
- Formulate and implement effective time/territory management tactics.
- Manage operating expense budget for assigned area.
- Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight travel.
- Four-year college degree, or equivalent education/experience.
- Knowledge of cutting and automation equipment markets preferred.
- Experience with shipbuilding industry a plus.
- 4+ years industrial sales experience, with welding or related sales experience preferred.
- 4+ years industrial sales experience, with cutting automation sales experience preferred.

Pay Range:
