Senior – CX, a Connor Group Company

Your Role:

As a Senior, you’ll bring value to our clients by providing sophisticated solutions. Your role will provide hands-on accounting support, stepping into critical roles such as:  

  • Interim Senior Accountant: Perform and review journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure the accuracy and organization of the chart of accounts. Play a pivotal role in executing or overseeing the month-end close process and provide critical support in preparing accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Interim Accounting Manager: Lead efforts to improve accounting workflows and processes, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. Review and validate account reconciliations and journal entries while addressing complex accounting issues and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Interim M&A Specialist: Provide detailed financial analysis and expertise during the due diligence phase of M&A transactions. Collaborate closely with clients to identify risks, opportunities, and essential considerations within the transaction lifecycle.

What You Bring:

We're searching for leaders who combine technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and meaningful leadership experience. 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, required (Master’s preferred). CPA or equivalent certification highly valued. 

  • 2+ years of experience in public accounting (Big Four or Next Ten) or a mix of public and industry experience. 

Skills: 

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including team collaboration and client-facing discussions. 

  • Passion for helping clients with a strong interest in operational accounting.

  • Proven ability to identify challenges, implement solutions, and deliver with precision. 

  • Ability to act and lead as the client contact.

  • High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 

Technology Proficiency:

  • Expertise with ERP systems, especially NetSuite, is preferred. 

  • Familiarity with supplemental tools like FloQast, Blackline, Workiva, and Carta is a bonus.
