About Hello Heart:

Hello Heart is on a mission to make heart attacks a thing of the past.

We’re an AI company focused exclusively on heart health, building a platform that predicts and prevents cardiac events before they happen—identifying risk up to 10 days in advance versus 10 years in traditional clinical models.

This is already working at scale. Hello Heart has been shown to reduce inpatient hospital days by 47% and deliver ~$1,800 in annual savings per member. Hello Heart is the cardiac prevention partner to over 80% of large U.S. health plans and serves hundreds of public and private employers.
We’re defining how the #1 cause of death—heart disease—is managed in the AI era. Join us.

Hello Heart is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Science and Analytics group. In this role, you’ll turn complex data into clear insights that help teams across the company make better, faster business decisions.

Reporting into our Analytics Team Lead, you’ll partner closely with our growing team of analysts, data scientists, and engineers. You’ll also work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Product, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Customer Success to uncover insights, build scalable reporting, and support data-informed decision-making across the business.

This is a high-impact role for someone who loves solving business problems with data, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to use artificial intelligence to automate workflows, improve analysis, and scale their impact.

Our Technologies stack: Tableau, Snowflake, DBT, AWS, Airflow, Python, Claude Code, Iterable, Salesforce, and more.

What you’ll do
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, Product, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Customer Success, to understand business needs and deliver actionable analyses.
  • Proactively explore data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities that can drive business growth and operational improvements.
  • Define and manage data collection requirements across systems and functions to support consistent reporting and insight generation.
  • Develop, optimize, and automate data pipelines using structured query language (SQL), artificial intelligence, and modern data engineering tools to deliver timely, accurate reporting at scale.
  • Build and maintain robust, interactive dashboards that enable self-service reporting across go-to-market and product teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual work, and drive efficiencies across the data landscape.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling visualizations and presentations for diverse audiences, including executives and external partners.
  • Partner with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and analytical consistency across the organization.
What you’ll bring
  • Strong artificial intelligence fluency, including experience using AI tools or agents to automate repetitive work, streamline analysis, generate reporting efficiencies, and improve output quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role.
  • 5+ years of experience using Python for data analytics, data science, or automation projects.
  • Direct professional experience using business intelligence and analytics tools, such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance optimization.
  • Experience supporting data needs across multiple business functions, such as marketing, product, finance, sales, customer success, or medical affairs.
  • Strong data hygiene practices, including quality checks, sanity checks, documentation, and validation.
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and confidently.
  • High independence, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive work forward with limited direction.
  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly as business needs change.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
