Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data warehouses, pipelines, and lakes using the Microsoft analytics stack. Transforms and models data, develops ETL/ELT, reporting, and dashboards, and partners with clients to gather requirements and deliver reliable analytics solutions. Works across the full delivery lifecycle and within Agile practices.
As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer on the Data Analytics Data Platform (DADP) team, you analyze, develop, and deliver business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Analytics stack. The Senior Data Analytics Engineer works directly with clients to ensure their expectations and business decision-making tool needs are met. The Engineer is an expert in using analytical and problem-solving skills and has experience creating scalable and reliable data solutions through data analytics solution development.
Responsibilities

- Works with other technical experts on the DADP team and is involved in all parts of the data analytics development process—from gathering requirements and solution delivery to documentation of lessons learned.

Required Skills
- 3-5 years of work experience in data engineering
- Your data engineering experience should include Azure technologies and be familiar with modern data platform technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Fabric.
- Understanding of Agile engineering practices
- Deep familiarity and experience in the following areas: Data warehouse and lakehouse methodologies, including medallion architecture; Data ETL/ELT processes; Data profiling and anomaly detection; Data modeling (Dimensional/Kimball); SQL; Strong background in relational database platforms; DevOps/Continuous integration & continuous delivery.
- Growing familiarity and experience with Python
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Desire for continued education and certification as it relates to the position
- Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Previous consulting experience is preferred but not required
