You will be part of a distributed team developing new technologies to solve real
business problems and play a key role in developing and monitoring AI features,
improving data pipelines, and ensuring our supplier sourcing tool delivers
high-quality, reliable results.
We are looking for a data engineer, who has a strong interest in data analytics. A
strong background in Python is essential, performing data analytics that will shape
the future of our client’s products.
What you will do:
● Collaborate with the business team to design and enhance and come up with
AI features that provide value for different clients.
● Monitor and evaluate the quality of output from our client’s AI
supplier-matching system, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
● Conduct data analytics to identify areas where AI-driven tools can be
improved.
● Design and run tests/experiments to validate the efficiency of new AI features.
● Work on data acquisition pipelines to source new supplier data, including web
crawling and integrations with 3rd-party tools/APIs.
● Build, maintain, and optimize AI tools and data pipelines in Python.
● Support the scaling of data systems as the platform grows.
● Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
What you will bring:
● Solid background in data analytics, statistics, and model evaluation.
● Strong demonstrable proficiency in Python
● Hands-on experience with data acquisition and integration (web crawling,
APIs, or 3rd-party tools).
● Familiarity with AI/ML models and their deployment in real-world systems.
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a startup environment.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Nice to have:
● Experience in procurement, supplier sourcing, or B2B marketplaces.
● Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
● Familiarity with OpenAI, Gemini integrations
● Prior startup experience.
