Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms, lead migration from Snowflake to client service, propose improvements, drive initiatives, and collaborate with senior engineers, product/project managers, and data analysts.
Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering;
- Expertise in AWS services ( Glue, Athena, etc.);
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, GCP;
- Experience with Snowflake, DBT, SQL, Airflow;
- Expirience with Qlik to AWS Datalake (nice to have);
- English - Upper-Intermediate+;
- Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines;
- Experience in building data platforms, not just using them;
- Proficiency in data modeling techniques and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Work on migration from Snowflake to the client’s service;
- Propose improvements, be actively involved in team discussions and decision-making, drive initiatives;
- Work closely with a team of Senior Engineers, Product & Project Manager and Data Analysts.
