Job Description

Position Summary

Help shape the future of design at CLEAResult by enriching our design system in Claude Design and building AI-powered, self-serve templates that let teams across the company create their own on-brand materials without waiting on a one-off request. Alongside that, bring CLEAResult's brand to life across everything Growth Marketing creates: brand materials, sales materials, social content, web work, and motion graphics. You'll create eye-catching, on-brand work across both static and motion formats that helps grow CLEAResult's reputation and pipeline with the utilities we want to work with, and you'll direct contract and freelance designers as needed to support production capacity.

Note for candidates: this is a brand and marketing design role, not a UX or product design role. Web design work includes both the public site and internal SharePoint properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing enrichment of CLEAResult's design system in Claude Design, building AI-powered, self-serve templates that let teams across the company produce their own on-brand materials, and move the team from one-off production toward scalable systems.
  • Own brand governance (via Frontify), including the ongoing brand modernization project.
  • Lead website and SharePoint design.
  • Direct contract and freelance designers as needed, maintaining a reliable bench for production capacity.
  • Triage and prioritize the significant volume of ad hoc creative requests that come from other departments. Recent team data shows meaningful time going to Bid & Proposal Support, Corporate Communications decks, Canada/regional marketing, and People/HR materials, alongside core Growth Marketing work.
  • Partner with the Senior Director and the team's project manager on delivering the creative queue cohesively, sequencing and batching work so that high-volume ad hoc requests do not crowd out core Growth Marketing priorities.
  • Partner with the Content Marketing Manager to turn their scripts into finished podcast, webinar, and short-form video assets.
  • Personally execute design requests across channels: digital, print, event collateral, sales enablement, and internal decks.

First 90 Days

Days 1 to 30

  • Working with the team's project manager, quantify the request queue: where time goes by requester, request type, and turnaround.
  • Assess the state of Frontify and the status of the brand initiatives.
  • Deliver recommendations on how to get the work already in the queue delivered cohesively, including sequencing, batching, and where reusable assets would remove repeat requests.

Days 31 to 60

  • Intake and triage process live, with prioritization and delivery cadence agreed with the Senior Director and the team's project manager.
  • Regular delivery cadence established for reusable templates and sales enablement templates, continuing the work already underway rather than starting from scratch.
  • A target set for reducing one-off production time, with the month-one baseline to measure against.

Days 61 to 90

  • Actively contributing to the ongoing enrichment of CLEAResult's design system in Claude Design, so teams across the organization can self-serve on-brand materials.
  • Queue data showing a real shift in mix toward core Growth Marketing work.
  • Reliable contract-designer bench established, with a clear onboarding/brief process for bringing contractors in quickly.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of brand or creative direction experience, with strong hands-on production ability.
  • Strong design-tool proficiency (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
  • Motion graphics or video production experience.
  • Experience managing a high-volume, multi-stakeholder request queue with a defined intake process.
  • Experience building reusable template or design systems that let non-designers self-serve.
  • Comfort using AI tooling, including Claude and Claude Design, as part of design production and design system work.
  • Experience directing contract or freelance creative talent; direct people-management experience a plus.
  • Utility or energy-industry knowledge a plus.

Tools and Systems

Frontify for brand governance. Adobe Creative Suite. SharePoint. Claude and Claude Design for AI-assisted template and design system work. Experience with motion and video tooling and with digital asset management. Specific platforms matter less than fluency.

Application Requirements

  • Resume.
  • Portfolio link. Required, not optional.
  • Motion reel or examples of motion graphics and video work.
  • One example of a template or design system that other people used without your involvement.

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
