Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to design, build, and maintain solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and/or Marketing). This role will lead technical design and hands-on development within the Power Platform ecosystem, and partner closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable CRM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure custom solutions within Dynamics 365 CE, including plugins, custom workflows, Power Automate flows, and JavaScript web resources.
- Build and maintain Model-Driven and Canvas Power Apps, including custom PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) controls.
- Develop integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party/internal systems using Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management), Dataverse APIs, and Web APIs.
- Lead technical design sessions, produce technical specifications, and translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Manage solution architecture across environments (dev, test, UAT, production) including ALM using Azure DevOps pipelines and solution packaging.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance, data, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and QA to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are properly tested.
- Stay current with Microsoft's Dynamics 365/Power Platform release roadmap and recommend adoption of new features.
- Support security model design (business units, teams, roles, field-level security).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, or Marketing modules).
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Dataverse/CDS plugin and workflow development.
- Experience with Power Platform: Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas), Power Automate, and Power Pages/Portals.
- Solid understanding of Dataverse data modeling, security roles, and solution architecture.
- Experience with DualWrite – enable master data transformations between CE & FSC
- Experience with Azure integration services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management).
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and solution lifecycle management.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OData, and Web API development.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 CE security, licensing, and deployment best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certifications: PL-400 (Power Platform Developer), MB-210/MB-230/MB-240 (or equivalent functional certifications), PL-600 (Solution Architect).
- Experience with Power BI integration and embedded analytics.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Field Service scheduling and IoT integration.
- Background in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Prior experience in a systems integrator or consulting environment.
