As a Senior DevOps Engineer in GTL (Global Testing Laboratory), you will have a key role in enabling customers to ship faster with fewer efforts. You will collaborate with some of the most promising and creative minds in the field! What you'll be doing:

  • Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve product SDLC and infrastructure services offerings.

  • Take full end-to-end ownership of systems health, reliability, security, and performance.

  • Partner with various teams at NVIDIA across different timezones to ensure flawless operations.

  • Mentor and guide team members, leading by example in DevOps/SRE methodologies.

  • Automate infrastructure setup, scaling, and configuration using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

What we need to see:

  • BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.

  • 8+ years of direct experience working in a large-scale software development setting as a DevOps/SRE Engineer at similar scale.

  • Technical Leadership: Ability to synthesize multi-functional needs into architecture and build while guiding internal execution across diverse teams. Excellent communication and collaborator engagement skills.

  • Solid understanding of Linux, networking, storage, security end on-premise infrastructure.

  • Proven track record managing production environments worldwide.

  • Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python/Go), with excellent Bash/Shell scripting skills; strong software engineering capabilities in backend systems and databases.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a group.

  • Solid understanding of container orchestration, microservices architecture, security, observability, CI/CD and GitOps principles, distributed systems, and high-performance data architectures.

  • Proficient with at least one of the major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) , including orchestration and infrastructure automation via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Proven success delivering high-impact, technically sophisticated solutions that achieve high levels of transparency into resource utilization, performance, and operational standards.

  • Real-world experience building systems to use/support AI/ML workloads.

  • Experience in self-service or platform engineering.

  • Hands-on experience with ITSM systems, or large-scale metadata platforms, including schema building and relationship modeling.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
