What you’ll do

We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on security and cost management to join our growing team. You will work closely with application developers to design, implement, and manage DevOps solutions that are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient. In this role, you will:

  • Lead the implementation of secure and scalable DevOps solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

  • Drive AWS security and cost optimization strategies, implementing controls and monitoring tools for efficient resource management.

  • Collaborate with development teams to create automated CI/CD pipelines and scalable infrastructure.

  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to maintain system reliability and performance.

  • Mentor junior team members, promoting a security-first mindset across the organization.

  • Establish and document DevOps standards, methodologies, and best practices.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience (5+ years in a DevOps role).

  • Strong expertise in AWS services, with a focus on security best practices and cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, Trusted Advisor).

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity) and monitoring systems.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python.

  • Advanced knowledge of security principles (IAM, VPCs, data encryption).

  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Bonus skills

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).

  • Experience managing serverless architectures and modern authentication (OIDC, SSO, SAML).

  • Software development experience in languages like Python, Java, or .NET.
