OVERVIEW:

  • Senior legal counsel acting as legal front-door to advise on enterprise advertising, marketing, media, including retail media, loyalty and personalization programs.
  • Partners closely with marketing and cross-functional enterprise stakeholders to enable growth, including category marketing, brand marketing and field marketing, merchants, eCommerce, and technology on digital-marketing initiatives.
  • Leads strategic deals and mentors direct reports and commercial contracts counsel to develop transactional skills supporting marketing agreements, including agency agreements, partnerships, sponsorships & activations, media/AdTech, retail media, and vendor agreements. Finds opportunities to optimize negotiation/deal strategies/processes.
  • Monitors trends and provides proactive advice and counsel on regulatory matters related to advertising/pricing matters (e.g., FTC, state consumer protection, global advertising rules), partnering closely with privacy/consumer regulatory teams.
  • J.D. with 10+ years of experience.

Targeted Pay Range: $153,700.00 - $285,300.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
