Leads senior client relationships across a portfolio of digital, data architecture, platform, and enablement programs. Translates partner needs for delivery teams, synthesizes cross-program risks and outcomes, leads executive governance, monitors client satisfaction and commercial health, identifies expansion opportunities, and manages escalations through influence rather than direct authority.

As a Senior Director, Client Engagement, your job is to translate the partner's needs into clear direction for the teams delivering the work, bring those teams together to produce high-quality, impactful outcomes, and build trusted relationships with the partner's senior stakeholders. You do this across a portfolio of independently-run programs, each with its own delivery lead owning execution day to day. This is an individual contributor role. You lead by influence and relationship credibility, not reporting authority.

The portfolio currently spans:

  • An internal platform-build engagement, giving the partner's sales organization better account intelligence and signal aggregation
  • A data and architecture advisory engagement, aligning the partner's sales and marketing pipeline systems
  • A seller enablement and capability-building engagement, developing the partner's field and account teams

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the partner relationship as its single front door: build trust, translate partner needs into clear direction for delivery teams, and keep context across every program
  • Synthesize across programs: catch developments in one that affect another, route them to the right stakeholders, and keep a current map of who needs to know what
  • Own QBR and SteerCo, turning portfolio-wide status, risk, and outcomes into what leadership needs to see. Weekly and monthly governance stays with each program's delivery lead
  • Read and manage client satisfaction as your primary mandate, and use that vantage point to spot growth and expansion
  • Watch commercial health and margin across the portfolio's varied fee structures, flagging risk before it reaches SteerCo
  • Translate technical and operational complexity (data architecture, platform builds, enablement design) into narrative that lands with executive stakeholders
  • Judge which scope and dependency issues need SteerCo visibility versus what a program lead should resolve directly, and step into escalations with clarity and urgency
  • Lead with high ownership: step in wherever the relationship needs it, regardless of which program it touches

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Experience in client/partner engagement and account leadership, with a track record of building trusted relationships at the senior-executive level
  • Fluency in enterprise marketing and sales technology (platform builds, data architecture, pipeline systems, enablement programs); familiarity with the Adobe ecosystem (e.g., AEM, Workfront, Adobe Experience Cloud)
  • Working knowledge of revenue operations: how sales, marketing, and product connect through pipeline, data, and enablement
  • Experience leading a portfolio of concurrent workstreams through influence rather than reporting authority
  • Executive communication skills: synthesizing complexity from multiple sources into a clear narrative for senior stakeholders
  • Judgment to read a relationship's health independent of commercial signals, and act on early warning signs before they escalate
  • Background in agency account management, digital transformation, martech/DXP, or related consulting work
  • Financial and commercial acumen across varied fee structures, with the judgment to balance stakeholder demands against delivery realities while protecting program teams
