About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced lifecycle marketer to build and scale a new function accelerating customer growth for our consumption-based offerings. This role is ideal for a leader skilled in driving usage and engagement within an API-first environment.

You will define the strategy, operating model, and experimentation framework to boost feature adoption, expand consumption, and drive measurable revenue. This role focuses on leveraging product and behavioral data, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration to guide enterprise customers through feature adoption and expansion, creating personalized, scalable approaches for each integration.

You will partner with Marketing teams—including Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Customer Education, and ABM—alongside Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Revenue Operations to establish a marketing model that accelerates time-to-value, increases consumption, and fuels long-term customer growth. This is a unique opportunity to shape how marketing contributes to the success of AlphaSense’s next-generation of products.

What You’ll Do:

Build a New Marketing Motion

  • Define the vision, strategy, operating model, and roadmap for Customer Lifecycle Marketing focused on usage and consumption-based offerings
  • Establish repeatable and scalable processes, experimentation frameworks and success metrics
  • Build the foundation for a high performing team as the function grows

Drive Product Usage and Consumption

  • Design digital-first programs that accelerate time-to-value, encourage deeper and more frequent product utilization, and facilitate coordinated orchestration with Customer Success teams
  • Develop and implement lifecycle strategies that increase customer usage of AlphaSense’s offerings, with a focus on our API solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to leverage product data, customer health signals and behavioral insights to build enterprise lifecycle programs that increase long-term customer value

Measure Business Impact

  • Develop executive reporting and optimization strategies focused on metrics such as:
    • Consumption-based revenue
    • Product utilization
    • Time-to-value
    • Engagement with key capabilities
  • Continuously optimize and consistently update programs based on measurable business impact and product innovation, ensuring relevance and accuracy
  • Foster strong working relationships and a culture of accountability and shared ownership.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of experience in high-growth, Enterprise B2B SaaS marketing, including significant experience leading post-sale marketing programs
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing lifecycle strategies that drive measurable product usage or consumption, including in API-based customer environments
  • Experience partnering closely across Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and Product
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using product and behavioral data to inform strategy
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders and drive alignment
  • Experience with usage-based or consumption-based business models
  • Familiarity with product-led growth principles and experimentation methodologies

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

Base Compensation Range
$192,000$235,000 USD
