What you'll be responsible for:
You will support market intelligence and ecosystem engagement in Argentina, while supporting select regional initiatives as relevant. This role is accountable for gathering market intelligence, engaging with regulatory and government stakeholders, and supporting Circle's compliant market presence in Argentina and the surrounding region. You will act as a market intelligence lead and stakeholder engagement specialist, working closely with Commercial, Business Development, Product, and partners with commercial activities and agreement execution handled by appropriately authorized personnel.
What you'll work on:
  • Gathering market intelligence and build Circle's brand awareness across DeFi, crypto capital markets, payments, and institutional use cases in Argentina and the surrounding region.
  • Proactively identifying market participants and ecosystem contacts; and maintain contemporaneous records of any counterparty-initiated contact to evidence the absence of active solicitation.
  • Partnering closely with Commercial and Business Development teams to share market intelligence and regulatory insights that inform Circle's pipeline strategy and market entry sequencing, with commercial agreement execution handled by offshore teams.
  • Coordinating with Product, Solutions, and Operations to relay market feedback and support compliant ecosystem engagement.
  • Tracking and reporting on market intelligence, regulatory developments, and stakeholder engagement activities to inform Circle's strategy.

What you'll bring to Circle:
Core Requirements:
  • 13+ years experience in business development and market expansion.
  • Proven experience driving growth, revenue, or transaction volume in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial infrastructure businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive ecosystem growth.
  • Strong commercial instincts with a bias toward action, execution, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, BD, Product, and technical teams to close and scale complex partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success working with regulators, policymakers, or government stakeholders in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Deep understanding of crypto markets, stablecoins, DeFi, or institutional financial flows.
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments while maintaining clear accountability for results.
  • Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in high-growth fintech, blockchain, or payments companies operating in Argentina and adjacent markets.
  • Track record of building repeatable operational frameworks and playbooks across multiple markets in Web3 or crypto.
  • Strong cultural fluency and experience leading diverse, distributed teams.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments with a blend of strategic vision and operational discipline.
  • Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
