Senior Director, People Business Partner

Go-to-Market Organization

Reports to: Chief People Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a senior People leader to serve as the strategic People Business Partner for our global Go-to-Market organization, a ~500-person function spanning Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to our President, Chief Customer Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer, helping shape the people strategy for a fast-moving, mission-driven cybersecurity company of ~1,500 employees.

This is an executive-facing, high-influence role that requires equal parts strategic vision and operational excellence. You will bring strong business acumen, a data-driven mindset, and the leadership gravitas to challenge and inspire C-suite partners while rolling up your sleeves to drive execution.

What You'll Do

Executive Partnership & People Strategy

  • Operate as a senior strategic advisor to the President, CCO, and CMO, a true business partner who understands the commercial engine and translates business priorities into people strategy

  • Shape and execute a multi-year people strategy for the GTM organization that supports aggressive growth, global scale, and the company's cybersecurity mission

  • Serve as a key member of the People leadership team, contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives and helping set the direction of the broader People function alongside the CPO

Organizational Design & Workforce Planning

  • Lead org design work across GTM as the business scales, advising on structure, spans and layers, role clarity, and team effectiveness

  • Own workforce planning for a global ~500-person organization, partnering with Finance and GTM leadership to ensure headcount strategy is aligned to business outcomes

  • Drive executive-level succession planning and talent pipeline development across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing

Talent, Performance & Development

  • Lead the talent review and calibration process for GTM, identifying top talent, development needs, and succession gaps at all levels including VP and above

  • Partner with L&D to design and deliver leadership development programs tailored to the needs of a high-growth GTM organization

  • Coach and develop a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous feedback, working directly with C-suite leaders and their direct reports

Employee Relations, Compliance & Risk

  • Provide senior-level judgment on complex, sensitive, and high-stakes employee relations matters across multiple global jurisdictions

  • Partner with Legal and People Operations to ensure the company's practices remain compliant, equitable, and defensible across all geographies where GTM employees are based

Culture & Engagement

  • Use people analytics and engagement data to proactively diagnose organizational health trends and bring forward-looking recommendations to the CPO and GTM leadership

  • Champion a high-performance culture across a globally distributed GTM workforce that attracts and retains top talent

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years of progressive HR/People experience, with 5+ years operating at the Director level or above as a People Business Partner or People leader

  • Demonstrated experience as the most senior HRBP or People leader supporting a go-to-market, sales, or revenue organization. You deeply understand quota cycles, commission structures, and the dynamics of customer-facing teams

  • Proven ability to build trusted, peer-level relationships with C-suite executives and influence at the highest levels of an organization

  • Experience supporting a global workforce across multiple regions, with working knowledge of employment law and HR practices in key international markets

  • Strong expertise in org design, workforce planning, executive talent management, and succession planning at scale

  • Sophisticated use of people analytics to shape strategy and build credibility with data-driven business leaders

  • Background in high-growth technology companies; cybersecurity, SaaS, or B2B enterprise software experience strongly preferred

  • Executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities with composure

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's in HR, Business, or Organizational Psychology preferred

Why This Role

This is a rare opportunity to operate at the intersection of people strategy and business leadership in one of the most dynamic sectors in technology. You will have direct access to and influence over the company's most critical commercial function, a CPO who views the PBP as a genuine strategic partner, and the scope to build something meaningful at a company on the front lines of global cybersecurity.
