Description

WHO WE ARE

Come join the company at the center of how the world adopts AI securely. Cyera’s mission is to give enterprises the confidence to embrace AI safely — deciding exactly what it can see and do as it reaches deeper into the business. We started by solving the hardest problem in data security: finding and securing data faster and more precisely than anyone thought possible. That foundation is now the essential AI trust infrastructure for the Fortune 1000. We’re hiring mission-driven talent to put those leaders at the center of our story.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're hiring a Senior Director of Portfolio & Solutions Marketing to own how Cyera's expanding platform shows up in the market. You will define the portfolio narrative across AI security, data security posture management, DLP, IR and identity, and the industry and use case solutions built on top. You'll be the voice that connects our products into a single, coherent story for buyers, analysts, partners, and the broader market.

You will be a peer to our existing product marketing function partnering closely with our PMM leader and team and will be the executive face of Cyera's category and portfolio point of view. The right person is a recognized expert in how AI and data security are evolving, with the strategic chops to shape an emerging category and the operating muscle to translate that into pipeline-generating campaigns, analyst wins, and sales enablement that actually moves deals.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 90 days, you've absorbed the portfolio, met our top customers and analysts, and delivered a draft of the next-generation Cyera portfolio narrative. By the end of year, that narrative is live across the website, the sales pitch, analyst briefings, and our top campaigns. We are considered the AI and Data Security leader by at least one major analyst firm. Field teams can articulate the platform story without coaching, and our pipeline reflects the new positioning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Portfolio strategy and narrative. Define the Cyera platform story - what we stand for, how the pieces fit together, and why we win. Build the messaging architecture that spans platform, portfolio, industry, vertical, and solution layers, anchored in customer use cases and buyer pain.
  • Solutions and use case marketing. Translate the platform into the specific outcomes buyers care about including AI governance and safety, data security for regulated industries, M&A and data sprawl, insider risk, third-party and partner data risk, and the next set of use cases as the portfolio expands.
  • Industry and vertical positioning. Build differentiated points of view for the verticals where Cyera wins including financial services, healthcare, technology, public sector and arm field teams with the narrative, proof, and content to land them.
  • Analyst relations and thought leadership. Own the portfolio-level relationship with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and emerging analyst voices. Shape how the category gets defined and how Cyera gets ranked. Author and place the point-of-view content keynotes, bylines, research, executive narratives that establishes Cyera as the thought leader in AI and data security.
  • Cross-functional leadership. Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and the broader Marketing org (Demand, Brand, Content, Field) to make sure the portfolio story shows up consistently across product launches, campaigns, the website, the sales motion, and customer-facing programs.
  • Team leadership. Operate as a player-coach with our PMM leader and team. Set the bar for strategic thinking, narrative quality, and operating rigor.
Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 12+ years in B2B marketing with at least 5 years leading portfolio, platform, or solutions marketing at a high-growth cybersecurity company. Experience scaling a company through a category-defining moment is a strong plus.
  • Recognized expertise in cybersecurity, with deep fluency in data security, AI security, cloud security, or an adjacent domain. You're already in the conversation with CISOs and analysts or ready to be.
  • Proven track record building portfolio narratives that span multiple products and use cases, and translating them into measurable pipeline and brand impact.
  • Strong analyst relations background, with examples of moving the needle on Magic Quadrants, Waves, MarketScapes, or category definition. Proven track record of category creation with analyst firms and success taking the company to leadership positions in research reports.
  • Executive presence and the ability to be a credible external voice in print, in front of analysts and customers.
  • Hands-on writer and editor. You can produce the narrative yourself when needed, not just direct others to.
