Join us in our mission to advance clinical research and improve patient care.

One mission. One team. That’s OneStudyTeam.

Fundamentally, this job is about owning the success of a product that can have a meaningful impact on the clinical trial industry. We’re not looking for someone to simply write good requirements and make sure that the product meets them. Those things are important, but not sufficient. This job is about building, launching, and growing a successful product. This role is for someone who can think deeply to understand complex problems, and collaborate to come up with awesome solutions and a plan to turn good ideas into great products. You don’t have to have all the answers. In fact, we acknowledge the things we don’t know so that we approach problems with humility, curiosity, and open-mindedness. This role requires good judgment to make wise tradeoffs, make decisions in the face of ambiguity, and take informed risks.

We have an amazing team of product designers. We need someone who will work hand-in-hand with Design to craft great product experiences that delight our customers. This requires attention to the details without losing perspective of the bigger vision and the broader system. We need someone who understands that the job doesn’t stop at getting the product built and shipped. The job includes preparing Marketing to promote the product, Sales to sell the product, and Customer Success to implement and support the product. The job includes tracking the product’s adoption, identifying areas for improvement, and growing the adoption.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Drive the entire product lifecycle from initial conception and deep problem discovery through to launch and long-term market success.
  • Analyze complex clinical trial industry challenges to develop innovative, scalable solutions while navigating ambiguity and making informed, high-stakes tradeoffs.
  • Partner closely with Product Design to craft intuitive, high-quality user experiences that balance minute technical details with the broader product vision.
  • Lead internal readiness by equipping Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams with the tools and knowledge necessary to promote, sell, and support the product.
  • Monitor post-launch product adoption and key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate product risks by maintaining a culture of curiosity and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Act as the central point of communication between technical teams and business leadership to ensure the product roadmap aligns with company goals.
  • Continuously engage with the clinical trial landscape to maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and competitive trends.
  • Synthesize feedback from Customer Success and end-users to influence the iterative development of the product.
  • Ensure all individual features and updates contribute positively to the broader product ecosystem and long-term clinical impact.

What You Bring to OneStudyTeam:

Experience:

  • You have at least 10-15 years of product management experience.
  • You have experience owning a product portfolio or major product line with measurable business impact.
  • You have a proven track record of defining and executing product strategy in a complex, cross-functional environment.

Strategic Leadership

  • You think in systems and long-term horizons
  • You connect product decisions to business strategy and financial outcomes.
  • You can operate at both executive altitude and tactical depth.
  • You influence senior stakeholders and align teams around clear priorities.

Talent Development

  • You build strong, empowered product teams.
  • You coach and mentor product managers to elevate their craft and impact.
  • You set clear expectations and hold teams accountable to high standards.

Judgment & Decisiveness

  • You make informed decisions in ambiguity.
  • Speed matters to you. Many decisions and actions are reversible and do not need to be overanalyzed or follow a ceremonial process. You are comfortable taking smart risks.
  • You anticipate risks and proactively mitigate them.

Customer & Market Insight

  • You learn rapidly and eagerly. You are curious about the market, the competition, our customers, and our strategy.
  • Even when approached with suggested solutions, you are curious about the underlying problems.
  • You internalize customer problems and strive for solutions that customers love.

Operational Excellence

  • You focus yourself and the teams you work with on business outcomes that matter.
  • You deliver results.
  • You take responsibility for the success of your product and align other teams to ensure success.

Exceptional Communication

  • You communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, including executive audiences.
  • You listen well and seek to understand before reacting.
  • You can explain complex topics in simple language.
  • You effectively communicate the “what” and the “why”.
  • You insist on high quality in both internal and external communications and collateral.

The expected salary range for this role is $200,000 - $240,000 USD per year for full time team members.
