About Megaport
We’re not your typical tech company – and we don’t want to be. Megaport is the global leader in Network as a Service (NaaS), and has transformed the way businesses connect to the cloud, data centers, and each other. We’re publicly listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and partnered with the biggest names in tech like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, IBM, and more. Headquartered in Brisbane with a crew of over 400 people spread across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, our employees enjoy an environment that is collaborative, supportive, and (actually) fun.

Our Team Culture
We’re a team of problem solvers, pixel pushers, code slingers, and cloud fanatics. Culture is more than a poster on the wall here – collaboration beats hierarchy, curiosity fuels our growth, and everyone’s voice matters. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We work across time zones to execute on our global vision, trust each other to get things done, and never compromise our values for commercial gain. Most importantly, we place our customers at the center of everything we do.

We’re committed to increasing representation in the tech industry and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Don’t meet every requirement? That’s okay. If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply.

The Role
This role is a key contributor to our product strategy and development, you’ll be working in a multi-faceted environment covering technical product development, content and go-to-market strategy as well as competitive analysis. This role will be heavily customer-facing and will involve keeping the pulse of our customer base and making sure we’re adding value to their network every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing technical specifications and go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
  • Working alongside the Technology leadership team on strategy and prioritisation.

  • Set success criteria and follow up to ensure new product development is delivering value for Megaport and our customers.
  • Continually monitoring the competitive landscape and building playbooks for the sales team.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

What We Are Looking For

  • We value aptitude and skills over specific technologies, however the following would be advantageous:
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A first-hand working knowledge of current data networking products and technologies, including Ethernet networking, IP, BGP routing, peering, firewalls, NAT, etc.

  • Self-starter, able to handle ambiguity, navigate uncertainty, identify risks, and find the right people and tools to get the job done.

What We Offer

  • Flexible working environments
  • Birthday Leave
  • Study and training allowance + 5 days paid study leave
  • Creative, fun, and contemporary workspaces
