Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of magnetic design and components. This role involves creating detailed designs, performing engineering analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to manage complex design projects from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine product designs using CAD software and engineering principles.
- Perform design calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies for transformers.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design, manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Design of wiring schematics and control box layout.
- Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Support prototype development and testing activities.
- Identify opportunities for design improvements and innovation.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in product design and development.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and engineering analysis software.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design standards.
Preferred
- Experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
- Knowledge of Lean design principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
