What You’ll Do:
- Lead design and development of electrical systems for solar and battery storage projects
- Conducting feasibility studies, power system modeling, and electrical calculations
- Creating and reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Analyze designs to ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NERC standards
- Stamping engineering drawings.
- Providing mentorship and leading teams.
- Contributing technical expertise to business development and proposals
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- PE Licensure
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
Nice-to-Haves:
- MS in Electrical Engineering
- Internship or project experience in power systems or renewables
- Involvement in student/professional engineering societies
- Experience with electrical design or consulting
