Senior Engineer End User Compute

Position Title: End User Compute Sr Engineer

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Your role

The primary focus is to lead the subregional L2 IT support team and provide on-site and remote support to Digital Realty end-users and collaborate with the IT Engineering teams to maintain Digital Realty’s IT infrastructure. Regional and global collaboration between the IT teams is vital and encouraged to further improve knowledge and experience transfer between different countries.  

What you’ll do

• Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of EUC solutions (endpoints, Intune, VDI, Microsoft 365). 
• Act as 3rd-level escalation point for complex EUC incidents and problem resolution. 
• Manage endpoint lifecycle including images, deployment, patching, and automation. 
• Define technical standards, create documentation, and ensure compliance with IT policies. 
• Support global projects such as Microsoft 365/Teams adoption, endpoint rollouts, and Zero Trust security initiatives. 
• Mentor junior engineers and IT support staff. 
• Research and recommend emerging EUC technologies. 
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve operations. 
• Represent EUC in technical project discussions and cross-functional IT initiatives. 

What you’ll need 

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

• 5+ years in EUC engineering or IT infrastructure roles. 

• Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, Teams Administrator, or Enterprise Administrator Expert. 

• ITIL Intermediate or equivalent certification desirable. 

• Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Teams, Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint security. 

• VDI technologies such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, or Azure Virtual Desktop. 

• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management. 

• Automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python). 

• IT security best practices for endpoints and compliance frameworks.
