The Senior Engineer for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O will manage project lifecycles including design, development, integration, and maintenance of database applications, while supporting and mentoring a team.
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Engineer will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, including designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining database-driven applications. Includes programming, unit testing, documentation, debugging of front and back-end software applications. Entails working on existing applications as well as creating new applications.
Salary Range: $92,596-120,374 plus 10% bonus
Remote hires will be required to travel to our headquarters in Ankeny, IA (company paid) on their first day for orientation.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
- Develop customized Dynamics 365 solutions, configure, and administer D365 F&O integrations and data management.
- Develop solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and industry specific products and add-ons
- Review existing and new X++ code based on performance aspects and best practices
- Responsible for code merges and deployments to productive systems
- Lead and supervise one or more team members
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs
- Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency
- Review other team members work to ensure the quality and consistency in the development teams outputs
- Manage multiple projects
- Adhere to the standards and guidelines of Information System Technology Methodology
- Work within set company and unit standards, policies, and procedures
- Maintain an up-to-date technical knowledge and understanding of practical programming application
- Maintain the confidentiality of information processed
- Participate in 24/7 support rotation
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years of prior Dynamics AX or D365 F&O experience in a similar consulting role
- Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Power Platform, SSRS, Power BI, SQL Server, and related tools
- Deep understanding of the F&O framework, data structures, and objects
- 5+ years of experience in X++, SSRS development is required
- 3+ years of experience in C#.NET, SQL Server and SQL design and development
- ·Reporting technologies
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 ERP development, configuration, design and implementation
- Minimum of two full lifecycle ERP implementations leading a technical workstream
- Experience with LCS, Azure DevOps and Visual Studio
- Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to web applications
- Experience mentoring junior developers is a plus
- Strong Software Quality Assurance (QA) skills
- Strong ability to debug applications in various software languages
- Self-motivated and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner; ability to work alone or within a team
- Willingness to work occasionally outside normal business hours
- Must hold at least one of the following Certifications (Core Finance and Operations, Finance and Operations Apps Developer, Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect)
